Small towns thrive when people have a place to gather

The Coffee House of Plymouth began when Bruce Tanner made a spontaneous decision to follow his dream instead of flipping a historic Plymouth house.

He reached out to his friend Katie Snook, who brought years of coffee shop management experience and a shared vision for what this community deserved. Together, they restored 208 Sandusky Street into something simple: a place where everyone feels at home.

Restoring a historic home

They didn’t just open a coffee shop. They brought a piece of Plymouth back to life. The exposed brick, the worn wood, the furniture that makes you want to stay awhile. 208 Sandusky Street has been part of this town’s story for a long time. Now it’s where that story keeps going.

Meet Bruce and Katie

Bruce has been a familiar face in Plymouth for years. As the owner of Levels Gym and a longtime community organizer, he’s always believed in what this town can be. The Coffee House is just the latest way he’s putting that belief into action.

Katie spent years managing Wired Coffee Bar in Willard before bringing that experience home. Coffee has always been her happy place, and it shows.

Together, they’re not just running a business. They’re building something they’re proud of, and they’d love for you to be part of it.
